THE PATHOCARE LABORATORY

The Pathocare Laboratory is an independent, stand alone pathology laboratory established in 2005. It is owned & run by qualified pathologists, Dr. Amit Shah & Dr. Kalpesh Gandhi.

It adheres stringent international standards for incisive diagnosis and precise, accurate reporting.

DOCTORS

Dr. Amit Shah

  • Dr. Amit Shah is MD in Pathology from NHL Medical College, VS Hospital, Ahmedabad.
  • e has worked with many reputed laboratories in Ahmedabad and is Head of the Pathology department at SAL hospitals, Ahmedabad. He is responsible to get the NABL accreditation for SAL Pathology Laboratory.
  • He is an internal auditor for the ISO 15189.


Dr. Kalpesh Gandhi

  • Dr. Kalpesh Gandhi is MD in Pathology from M P Shah Medical, Jamnagar. He also did AFIH (associated fellow in industrial health) in 2010.
  • He has worked with many reputed hospitals in Ahmedabad and is Head of the department of Central Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Zydus Research Center, A division of Cadila Healthcare Limited. He is responsible for the NABL and CAP accreditation of the Laboratory.
  • He is also empanelled with NABL as a technical assessor.
  • He has conducted thousands of pre employment and periodic health check ups at Cadila Healthcare Limited as per Gujarat Factory Act norms.

  • Our Quality Systems are compliant with the requirements of ISO 15189 - NABL.
  • Our Quality Assurance Program is designed to monitor every step of the process flow which includes pre analysis, analysis and post analysis of the samples.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly adhered to throughout all processes.
  • Stringent Internal Quality Control processes are designed and maintained which involves lots of statistical processes to make sure precise reporting.
  • The Pathocare Laboratory run quality control protocols in accordance with the instrument or reagent manufacturer's instructions and National and International regulations. Patient test results are not released until the quality control indicators are with in the national - international acceptable ranges.
  • The Pathocare Laboratory participate in extensive Proficiency Testing Programs (External Quality Assurance) to make sure accurate reporting.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement Programs enhance the quality of our results and services.
